ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hi, I'm Karina. An Aussie artist based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland. I have enjoyed creating since a young age, traditionally sketching using pencil and ink, and painting with watercolour and acrylics.

I have been experimenting and developing my skills and processes since completing my Digital Media studies in 2020 at Central Queensland University, and have generated a newfound love for graphic art and digital illustration. While continuing to extend my knowledge and fine-tuning my art style, I have submerged myself into creating scalable vector illustrations and have recently opened an Etsy store, KarinaDigital.

I am inspired by nature, street art, music, architecture and culture, which inevitably filters down into my work. I enjoy exploring different colour palettes, from bold contrasting colours to bright and earthy tones.
